The QH-VISG3-ED/EN is an advanced handheld industrial signal generator combining 4–20mA current simulation, 0–10V and 0–5V analogue output, active and passive current-loop operation, voltage/current measurement and a 1Hz–150kHz PWM generator in one portable instrument.

For 4–20mA testing, the unit provides a self-sourcing active 0–24mA current output for direct connection to compatible PLC and instrumentation inputs. It also supports passive two-wire current-sink operation when testing externally powered 24V loops, allowing the instrument to simulate the behaviour of a two-wire transmitter.

A large 2-inch 320 × 240 colour TFT display provides a clear graphical interface for viewing output values, measurements and settings. Combined with the EC11 digital encoder, built-in 1500mAh rechargeable battery and USB-C charging, it is ideal for industrial commissioning, maintenance, automation and field troubleshooting.

⚠️ Important Notes

• Active current-source mode: Use mAo (+) and GND (−). The generator supplies the current signal and can directly drive a compatible passive current input up to the specified 500Ω load.
• Passive two-wire mode: Use LP+ and mAo with an external 24V loop supply. In this configuration the generator acts as a variable current sink similar to a two-wire transmitter.
• The active current output is self-sourcing but should not be confused with a separate 24V auxiliary output for powering external transmitters.
• The PWM output has a fixed 5V high level. It is not a direct 12V or 24V PWM output; an appropriate external level-conversion interface is required for those systems.
• Turn the instrument off before connecting or changing wiring.
• Do not exceed the specified input, output or measurement ranges.
• Battery operating time varies according to output mode and connected load.
